I've always enjoyed shopping at Whole Foods (when I travel; we don't have one where I live), and I enthusiastically advocate a more holistic approach to better health through preventative measures, especially more healthful eating. Unfortunately, many of the stores and other holistic organizations whose health messages I endorse also advocate collectivist public policies I do not, which is a bit of a dilemma.
So I was encouraged to see John Mackey, the CEO of Whole Foods, endorse measures to reform our health care system other than a government takeover.
